Things God Can Not Do

By Joyce Webb 2016

God Can Not Lie

“In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised…..” Titus 1:2

“God is not a man, that He should lie,” Numbers 23:19

“….the Strength of Israel will not lie…..” I Samuel 15:29

God Can Not Change

“For I am the Lord, I change not.” Malachi 3:6

“Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” Hebrews 13:8

God Can Not Allow Sin be in Heaven

“And there shall in no wise (way) enter into it

(the city of God, heaven, New Jerusalem)

anything that defileth—–defiles—-(makes dirty or unclean). Revelation 21:27

Revelation 21:8 is a list of “unclean persons such as:

**Murder,

**Adultery (having sex with someone you are not married to)

**Sorcery witchcraft black magic evil spirits

**Idol worship worshipping gods made of stone, wood, gold , etc, or the sun, moon

**Lying telling a lie, cheating, deceiving (doing something in a way that covers the truth to fool someone) not being honest in word or action

**Unbelieving will not believe in God and Jesus.

People who say “I am a good person, I do not need to ask for forgiveness.”

People who say “I do not need God.”

People who say “Jesus is not the only way to heaven.”

God Can Not Let Sin Go Unpunished

“The soul that sinneth (sins) it shall die. Ezekiel 18:4

“For the wages of sin is death.” Romans 6:23

“Sin when it is finished, bringeth (brings) forth death.” James 1:15

“…without the shedding of blood, there is no remission (of sin).” Hebrews 9: 22

Leviticus 17:11 Matthew 26:28

Punishment has to be given for our sin. The punishment is death. Genesis 2:17

We must die because we have sinned.

God did a wonderful thing for us. He sent His son to die in our place. Jesus took our death punishment.

God can not forgive your sin unless you receive Jesus and ask for forgiveness

“..But as many as received him (Jesus) to them gave he the power to become the Sons of God., even to them who believed on his name.” John 1:12

“For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 19:13

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sin, and to cleanse (clean) us from all unrighteousness.” I John 1:9

“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him (Jesus) from the dead, you shall be saved.” Romans 10:9

When you receive Jesus and believe he died on the cross for you and ask for forgiveness of sin then your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Revelation 21:27

Pray this prayer: “Jesus, I believe you died for my sin. I am a sinner. I believe you can take away my sin and make me clean. I believe you are the only way to heaven.

Please forgive my sin. Amen.”
